Joining the Greenhouse accelerator
1. Book a 10 minute fact find
To make sure that the Greenhouse Innovation Accelerator is right for you, and help you make the right decision to join, we have a simple fact find application process. We ask you to complete a questionnaire about you and your business, then jump on a 10 minute one-to-one fact find session with one of the Greenhouse team. This ensures we can tell you all about how it works, what you can expect, and gives you the opportunity to ask us any questions.
2. Decide this is for you
We want you to be sure this is right for you. The reality is that you’ll have lots of support from your mentor, and your peers, however, all the hardwork to push your business forward will still be on you and your team! You’ll also be signing up for 12 months so you need to make sure you want to join the accelerator and are ready.
3. Join and get started!
When you’re sure this is right for you and your application as been approved you’re ready to get started. We’ll introduce you to your mentor and innovation group, and get your one-to-one session booked.
Accelerator FAQs
Firstly, we’re action oriented. Every one-to-one and every group session is designed to focus on capturing and prioritising the activities you need to complete to get you closer to achieving your goals and vision.
Accelerating takes time and dedication from you. There are no shortcuts, however we want you to be sure this is right for you. The reality is that you’ll have lots of support from your mentor, and your peers, however, all the hard work to push your business forward will still be on you and your team! You’ll also be signing up for 12 months so you need to make sure you want to join the accelerator and are ready.
We want to make sure the accelerator is right for you, and you’re right for the accelerator. This is important as we want you to get lots of value and find it useful, plus you will be placed in an innovation group and we want everyone to take it seriously and put the effort in.
Every group is different, but you can expect other business owners, MDs, entrepreneurs, and founders…all of whom are there to work on accelerating their businesses. Every 6 months, we mix up groups so you get to build more relationships and network with more accelerator members.
Yes, very. Anything you say, or anything captured and written down will only be accessible by Greenhouse mentors and you. If you choose to share this information outside of the sessions that is your call.
Every month you’ll have a 2 hour one-to-one session with your mentor, plus another half day group session each month. Then it’s up to you how much time you want to spend attending the Greenhouse innovation events and engaging with the community.
In all honesty, it depends on you. We deliberately have a consultative signup process to make sure you have all the information about how the accelerator works before signing up. Part of the role our mentors play is to help you capture your purpose, vision, goals, and activities. They will then help you prioritise these, identify quick wins a stay on track. However, they are not here to run your business for you. Essentially it is still you who has to do the “hard work”, but everything we do is designed to help you get better results more quickly.
