The purpose of SuperConnectors is to provide a platform for those with strong networks, to connect with others who also have strong networks. The aim is to supercharge everyones network as well as the region more widely. Super connectors in the region are the ones who most likely know and can recommend others who would be a good fit and who will add value to the group. So, anyone is welcome, as long as they have been invited by an existing member and are a super connector!
Typically a super connector is someone who:
- Is extremely well connected.
- Has worked in the region for a long time.
- Owns, operates or holds a senior position within a well known business, brand, fund, event series, annual conference, or business network/community.
- Could also be a mentor, board advisor, C-suite level exec, investor, or from a public sector organisation.
- Has a vested interest in seeing themselves, peers & the region grow.

How the invite process works
1. Suggest a new member
Existing members can suggest up to 2 new members each year. They do this by completing the invite form on this page and providing some basic information about the person they’re inviting.
2. Quick check by the team
The Greenhouse team confirms they’re not already a member, the existing member still has invites left, and the suggested new member is a super connector.
3. Invite sent to new member
Once confirmed and approved, the new member will receive an email confirming they have been invited to join, and by who. They just need to complete the new member registration form.

SuperConnectors FAQs
It is completely free to join super connectors. However, you must have an invite from an existing member to be able to join.
Anyone can join if they have an invite from an existing member, and they are a super connector. Typically a super connector is someone who has worked in the region for a long time and is extremely well connected. e.g. Owners and operators of well known businesses, brands, funds, events, conferences, networks and business communities. Such as business owners, mentors, board advisors, C-suite execs, investors, and public sector organisations. All have a vested interest in seeing themselves, each other & the region grow!
They must be nominated by an existing member. Once nominated, and after a quick check by the Greenhouse team to make sure they are a super connector and good fit, they will receive an email with their invitation.

You will need to complete a nomination form with the persons details along with a quick note why you feel they are a good fit for the group.
SuperConnectors is designed as a space for super connected people and businesses to supercharge their already well-established networks. By connecting with each other, members all help to super charge not only their own networks, but those of the region and North more generally!
As this is a new event for 2025 we don’t have any figures. As soon as we have some meaningful figures we will update this page. The founders started with inviting 10 super connectors from the region. Each new member will then receive an invite from an existing SuperConnector member.
